Shooting Reported at Western Gardens Overnight

MERIDIAN, Miss. — The Meridian Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred around midnight at Western Gardens.

According to early reports, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment. The injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.
