Three Geese Killed in Hit-and-Run on Bounds Road

MERIDIAN, Miss. — Three geese were killed in an apparent hit-and-run incident Wednesday morning on Bounds Road near 62nd Avenue.

The Meridian Police Department and Animal Control responded to the scene after the animals were found along the roadway.

At this time, it is unclear how or why the geese were struck. The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Meridian Police Department.
