Clarke County Deputies Take Burglary Suspect Into Custody

Clarke County deputies took a burglary suspect into custody Tuesday at a residence on Gates Lane.

According to authorities, deputies Mike Mozingo, Jason Bridgmon, and Blake Fleming arrested Herman McCarty, who was wanted in connection with multiple burglary charges.

Officials say McCarty was taken into custody without incident. No additional details about the burglaries or potential charges have been released at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing, and further information is expected to be released by the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.
