Lauderdale County, MS Sheriff's Office Graduates 14 Officers in CIT Training

On Friday, the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department held another Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) graduation, recognizing fourteen law enforcement officers representing six different agencies.

This important training strengthens our collective ability to respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises with professionalism, compassion, and care.

LCSO is especially grateful to our mental health partners for their continued collaboration and support throughout the week, which made this training possible.

Together, we are building safer communities and improving outcomes for those we serve.
