Shawn Wolfe will take on a new position as the Law Enforcement Liaison for Mississippi at Roblox.

Today, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced that Shawn Wolfe, Director of Cyber Crime at the Mississippi Attorney General's Office since February 2023, will take on a new position as the Law Enforcement Liaison for Mississippi at Roblox.

“This new position of law enforcement liaison is an important part of our settlement with Roblox,” said Attorney General Fitch. “It demonstrates Roblox’s ongoing commitment to work with our office, with Mississippi law enforcement officers, and with parents and teachers to improve the safety of the online platforms our children frequent. Shawn is the ideal person to serve in this new position. His expertise, experience, and commitment to taking on child predators and making the Internet a safer place ensure that the position fulfills its promise as the hub of a true public-private partnership to protect children.”

“Attorney General Fitch’s support for law enforcement and strong belief in collaboration initially led me to the AG's office. And now, those same principles have given me an opportunity to make a difference by helping protect our children from online predators and making the internet a safer place for the next generation. I am honored to take on this role and look forward to working alongside General Fitch and our law enforcement partners in a new capacity to protect all Mississippians," said Shawn Wolfe.

“So much of our lives is spent online, for work, entertainment, and school, but we can’t lose sight of the importance of real-world relationships,” said TJ Donovan, Roblox Vice President of U.S. State Policy. “Shawn’s experience with Mississippi law enforcement and investigating cyber crime will strengthen our ongoing work to help keep young people safe online. Roblox is putting people in communities to work directly with parents, students, teachers, law enforcement, and policymakers who share our commitment to a safe and civil internet. We appreciate Attorney General Fitch’s partnership on this effort, which shows what's possible when we work together."

As Director of the AGO Cyber Crime Division, Wolfe has provided invaluable support and insights to the AGO attorneys negotiating with Roblox and other social media and online platforms on child safety and wellbeing. Establishment of the Law Enforcement Liaison position for Mississippi was a part of the settlement with Roblox announced in June 2026. Amongst other responsibilities, the liaison will ensure the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and other Mississippi law enforcement have real-time or near-real-time 24-7-365 access; will plan and execute educational programs for law enforcement agencies on law enforcement response policies; and provide guidance and education to parents, caregivers, and educators on product and policy safety.

Wolfe came to the Attorney General’s Office in 2023 after a 26-year career with the federal government. That time included 3 years with the U.S. Border Patrol and 23 years with the United States Secret Service (USSS). During his time with the USSS, Wolfe served on the President’s Detail and was selected for a congressional fellowship on the House Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee. In his last position as Resident Agent in Charge of the Jackson office, Wolfe oversaw all budgetary, investigative, and protective operations for the USSS in Mississippi. Cyber Crime Deputy Director Charlie Rubisoff will become the division director on November 1, 2026.
