ROAD CONSTRUCTION REMINDERS & UPDATES
VIMVILLE CAUSEYVILLE ROAD • ALLEN SWAMP ROAD • CHIP PICKERING DRIVE
Lauderdale County Road & Bridge and contractors will be working hard today, October 22, on several road projects throughout the county.
VIMVILLE CAUSEYVILLE ROAD – ROAD CLOSURE
Crews will be completing the third cross pipe replacement in the 6110–6142 blocks of Vimville Causeyville Road TODAY, October 22.
ROAD CLOSED: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Please plan accordingly and use an alternate route during the closure.
ALLEN SWAMP ROAD
Crews will continue working along Allen Swamp Road in preparation for the upcoming resurfacing project clipping and trimming the shoulder of the road. Motorists should expect workers and heavy equipment in the area.
CHIP PICKERING DRIVE
Contractors are repairing damaged sections of Chip Pickering Drive. There are six locations marked with traffic cones where the roadway has been milled in preparation for spot paving today, October 22.
PLEASE SLOW DOWN, use extreme caution, and watch for workers, traffic cones, uneven roadway surfaces, and heavy equipment when traveling through these work areas.
