One Airlifted Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Choctaw County

YANTLEY, Ala. — One person was airlifted to a Tuscaloosa hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Choctaw County on Friday afternoon.

According to Choctaw County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred at approximately 4:16 p.m. on Alabama Highway 10 at County Road 32 near Yantley. One driver sustained injuries serious enough to require air transport to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. The extent of injuries has not been released.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office, Choctaw EMS, Choctaw Rescue Squad, and the Lisman Fire Department.

The Alabama State Troopers are investigating the crash. No further details were immediately available
