Armed robbery investigation/Public assistance requested

The Meridian Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday night at the Shell station on Highway 19 in Meridian, Mississippi. In a matter of hours, our investigators found surveillance footage and we are releasing it to assist identifying the subject.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing black pants and a black hoodie. A surveillance image of the individual is being released to the public to assist with identification.
