WANTED: Suspect Sought for Possession of Stolen Property in Neshoba County

NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. — Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a stolen property investigation in Neshoba County.

Sean Patrick Sharp is wanted by the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office for possession of stolen property following an investigation conducted Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Deputies assisted the Mississippi Highway Patrol after troopers requested help locating a stolen truck and trailer reported missing from Ascension Parish, Louisiana.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., deputies and troopers responded to a residence at 11350 Road 266 in the Beatline Community, where they recovered a stolen Ford F-250 diesel pickup truck and a 6x16-foot BigTex gooseneck dump trailer. Multiple additional stolen items were also recovered from the property, including a dirt bike, ATVs, and utility trailers.

As law enforcement officers approached the residence, Sharp reportedly fled the scene on foot into anearby wooded area. Authorities say he left behind personal belongings, including his cell phone and a Mississippi driver’s license, inside the stolen vehicle.

Sharp was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt and was last observed on foot in the area of Road 266 in the Beatline Community.
