Inmate Deceased at East Mississippi Correctional Facility

Authorities were called to the East Mississippi Correctional Facility on Highway 80 West Monday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. after a male inmate was found deceased at the facility.

The inmate’s name has not been released at this time. The body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
