Mayor Larry Gill gives statement on Officer charged in Weekend DUI Crash.

“The Town of Marion and Marion Police Department is aware of the situation involving an officer being arrested this weekend. This is a personnel issue and I will discuss it with our Board of Aldermen at our regular scheduled Board Meeting on August 19, 2025. The officer has been placed on Paid Administrative Leave pending that conversation with the Board.”
