Request for Public Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspect

The Meridian Public School District Campus Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual believed to be responsible for a burglary at Parkview Elementary School.

During the early morning hours of Wednesday, at approximately 2:30 a.m., an unknown male suspect unlawfully entered Parkview Elementary School and stole several electronic devices, along with other miscellaneous items belonging to the school.

We are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or any of the clothing and accessories he is wearing to come forward. Investigators are especially interested in identifying the distinctive Jordan Air backpack and the work boots worn by the suspect, as someone may recognize these items.

If you have any information that could assist in identifying this individual, please contact Chief Cornelius Parks, Meridian Public School District Campus Police Department, at (601) 934-1776 (tel:(601)

934-1776). All information received will be handled appropriately, and your assistance could be vital in helping solve this case.

The Meridian Public School District Campus Police Department appreciates the continued support of our community and thanks Scotty Ray Reports for helping share this information with the public.
