Update -

Jetavion Markenyus Johnson, 18, of Newton, was transported to a Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Reports are coming in of a murder that took place this afternoon, a little after 5 pm, at Roosevelt State Park in Scott County. A male subject is deceased from a gunshot that took place during a gender reveal party. No other information is available at this time. The Scott County Sheriff's Department is investigating the murder.
