Search Warrant ends in Arrest

On November 06, 2025, at approximately 2 pm after a lengthy investigation, the East Mississippi Drug Task Force and Lauderdale County SWAT Unit served a Search Warrant in the 900 block of 38th Avenue Meridian, MS. Approximately an ounce of methamphetamine, 49 dosage units of ecstasy and a firearm were recovered. Aldrick Carpenter was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute while in possession of a firearm within 1500 feet of a Church, Trafficking Ecstasy while in possession of a firearm within 1500 feet of a church, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Sale of Methamphetamine within 1500 feet of church. Mr. Carpenter is currently out on parole.
