Meridian Police Officer Renders Aid at Captain D’s

Meridian Police Lieutenant Michael Hemrick responded to Captain D’s on 22nd Avenue this afternoon. Upon arrival, he discovered an individual experiencing a medical emergency. Lt. Hemrick rendered aid until Metro Ambulance Service arrived on the scene. The individual was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

Lt. Hemrick is being recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.
