Temporary road closure on N. Hill St. in Meridian beginning this Sunday morning February 8, 2026

Meridian, Mississippi-the City of Meridian is advising motorists and nearby residents of a temporary road closure beginning Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 7 AM

N. Hills St. will be blocked between Highway 39 and 10th Ave. while city crews conduct a tree removal in the area.

Residents in the Colonial Acres neighborhood will need to exit south to Highway 39 during the closure and residents in the Windover Circle or 6th place areas will need to exit west on N. Hill St. to 10th Ave.

The city asks all drivers and pedestrians to use caution respect, barricades, and avoid the work zone until the project is completed, and the barricades have been removed
