Mississippi Children’s Museum – Meridian to Celebrate America’s250th Birthday with Patriotic Day
Meridian, Miss. – The Mississippi Children's Museum-Meridian
(MCM-Meridian) invites families to celebrate Independence Day
with a star-spangled America's 250th birthday bash on Saturday,
July 4 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to wear their patriotic best and enjoy a
full lineup of hands-on activities celebrating our nation's history
and spirit.
Patriotic Day Schedule
• 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.| Stars & Stripes Dance Party with DJ JT
• 12 p.m. | Happy Birthday America & Freedom Fetti
• 1 p.m. | Star-Spangled Bubble Show
Visitors can also enjoy all-day patriotic activities, including
designing Fourth of July crowns, creating patriotic friendship
bracelets, making star-spangled 3D pen creations, festive
artwork, and creating shrink art. Birthday cake and popsicles will
also be available as families celebrate America's 250th birthday.
Please note that the museum will close early at 2 p.m. on July 4.
