MPD SWAT Team Serves Search Warrant

MERIDIAN, Miss. — The Meridian Police Department SWAT Team served a search warrant this afternoon near 45th Place and Arthur Street.

Members of the MPD SWAT Team arrived at the scene with SEP, the department’s K-9, as officers executed the search warrant.

Two people were taken into custody at the scene, according to initial information from the Meridian Police Department.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of those taken into custody or provided additional details about the search warrant.
