Six Killed in Clay County Shooting Spree; including 7-year-old.

CLAY COUNTY — Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott has identified Daricka Moore, 24, as the suspect in a deadly shooting spree that spanned four crime scenes Friday evening and left six people dead.

Deputies were first dispatched at 6:56 p.m. to 100 Block David Hill Road in Cedar Bluff, west of West Point. Authorities arrived at 7:03 p.m. and discovered three victims deceased inside the residence.

According to investigators, Moore allegedly killed his father, Glenn Moore, 67; his uncle, Willie Guines, 55; and his brother, Quinten Moore, 33. After the shootings, Moore reportedly stole a Ford F-150 belonging to his brother and fled the scene.

Moore then traveled to a second location on Blake Road . Investigators say he attempted to sexually assault a victim at gunpoint. During the incident, Moore allegedly shot and killed a 7-year-old girl.

The stolen truck was later discovered at a third crime scene in the 1900 block Siloam-Griffith Road. At that location, authorities found two brothers shot and killed, identified as Barry Bradley and Samuel Bradley, both of Columbus.

The fourth and final scene occurred at the intersection of Pine Grove Road and Joe Myers Road, where Daricka Moore was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities confirmed that the charges against Moore are being upgraded from first-degree murder to capital murder. The motive remains unknown.Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation and arrest. The case remains under active investigation.
