The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department made a traffic stop this afternoon on hwy 19 North on a vehicle that matched the description of someone with outstanding warrants. The subject gave the deputy a fake name and sped off as the information was being verified. The subject turned on to North Hills Street, once speeds reached a safety concern the deputy stopped the pursuit.
The subject has been identified as Guy Wilson McRae, he has outstanding warrants in DeSoto, Lee , and now Felony Fleeing in Lauderdale County. McRae was driving a Blue Chevy Silvardo with a disabled tag on it, If you know where he can be located call the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 855-485-8477.
