Severe Weather This Afternoon

Severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon into tonight. Timing for this event is complex, but there are generally two rounds of storms expected. The first round this afternoon will primarily impact southeastern Mississippi, and the second round later this evening into tonight will primarily impact northeast Louisiana, southeast Arkansas, and western Mississippi. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes will be possible with severe storms that may develop.
