Severe Weather Possible 2pm-10 pm

An isolated severe storm will be possible this afternoon into this evening across portions of central, east, and southeast Mississippi. Damaging wind gusts and hail to the size of quarters will be the primary concerns with the most intense storms.

There is a risk for a few isolated severe thunderstorms across our southern counties Saturday from 1 pm to 8 pm. The hazards include damaging winds up to 60 mph, hail up to quarter size, and the potential for a brief tornado.
