Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 875 calls for service from July 31, 2024 at 6:00 AM to August 6, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

At 10:22 PM on July 31, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 3100 block of 8th Street. The victim stated he was threatened with a gun and property was taken, the case is currently under investigation.

Commercial Burglary

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 8:15 AM on August 2, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of Highway 45 North. The vehicle has been recovered.

Auto Burglary

At 11:02 AM on August 1, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4600 block of Poplar Springs Drive. Entry was gained through a door.

At 2:01 PM on August 1, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4600 block of Poplar Springs Drive. Entry was gained through a window.

At 10:43 AM on August 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 200 block of North Frontage Road. Entry was gained through a door.

At 7:02 AM on August 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2300 block of South Frontage Road. Entry was gained through a door.

At 4:07 PM on August 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2200 block of South Frontage Road. Entry was gained through a window.

Residential Burglary

At 11:51 AM on July 31, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 200 block of North Hills Street. Entry was gained through a door.

At 8:20 AM on August 1, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 3700 block of Paulding Street. Entry was gained through a door.

At 9:34 AM on August 3, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 4400 block of 20th Street. Entry was gained through a window.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 24 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 5 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 9:09 PM on August 2, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4400 block of 35th Avenue. One structure was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.

At 9:28 PM on August 3, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of Pacific Street. Two residences were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.

At 9:28 PM on August 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of 27th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.

At 10:47 PM on August 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of 15th Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.

At 10:45 PM on August 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 3800 block of 35th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
