Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 2 showed evidence found to support the calls.

At 8:20 PM on August 1, 2023, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of 23rd Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.

At 10:34 PM on August 1, 2023, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of 19th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
