Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 675 calls for service from July 3, 2024 at 6:00 AM to July 8, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
There were no robberies reported.
Commercial Burglary
At 12:37 PM on July 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 North. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 12:37 PM on July 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of 49th Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.
Auto Burglary
At 11:54 AM on July 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2500 block of 24th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
At 5:40 PM on July 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 1800 block of 25th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.
At 8:51 PM on July 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 3200 block of Grandview Avenue. Entry was gained through a window.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 35 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 12:27 PM on July 3, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of 10th Avenue. One residence and one vehicle were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
