Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 323 calls for service from June 28 2024 at 6:00 AM to July 1, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 2:22 AM on June 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 4300 block of 8th Street. The victim stated he was threatened with a gun and property was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
At 8:15 AM on June 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 3000 block of 8th Street. The victim stated he was assaulted with a sharp object and cash was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 5:31 PM on June 28, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of 19th Avenue. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 11 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 3 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 3:49 AM on June 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of 45th Avenue. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 10:57 AM on June 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of 44th Avenue. One vehicle was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
