Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 141 calls for service from May 6, 2024 at 6:00 AM to May 7, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary

At 9:29 AM on May 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 3400 block of Hwy 45 North. Entry was gained through a door.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

There were no stolen vehicles reported.

Auto Burglary

At 3:26 AM on May 8, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 1300 block of 19th Avenue. Entry was gained through a window.

Residential Burglary

There were no residential burglaries reported.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 8:56 PM on May 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 3200 block of 25th Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
