Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 260 calls for service from February 28, 2024 at 6:00 AM to March 3, 2025 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary

At 8:51 AM on March 1, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 3900 block of 8th Street. Entry was gained through a window.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 11:12 AM on February 28, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 4900 block of Poplar Springs Drive. The vehicle has been recovered.

Auto Burglary

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

There were no residential burglaries reported.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 9 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 5:11 PM on March 1, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of 47th Avenue. Two individuals and one residence were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
