The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
There were no robberies reported.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 8:08 AM on March 23, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3800 block of Poplar Springs Drive. The case is currently under investigation.
At 8:57 AM on March 23, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 4400 block of King Road. The vehicle has been recovered.
At 6:25 AM on March 24, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2600 block of 16th Street. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
At 7:56 AM on March 23, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4200 block of King Road. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 5 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 8:23 AM on March 24, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of 14th Street. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
