Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 316 calls for service from January 31, 2024 at 6:00 AM to February 3, 2025 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
There were no robberies reported.
Commercial Burglary
At 6:49 AM on January 31, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 3100 block of 20th Street. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 10:38 AM on January 31, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 4300 block of 36th Street. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 8 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 2 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 11:21 PM on January 31, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of 14th Street. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 11:47 PM on February 2, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of 56th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
