Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 135 calls for service from October 9, 2024 at 6:00 AM to October 10, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

At 1:56 AM on October 10, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 1900 block of Highway 1 North. The victim was assaulted and cash was taken, the case is currently under investigation.

Commercial Burglary

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

There were no stolen vehicles reported.

Auto Burglary

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

At 3:43 PM on October 9, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 5400 block of Mosby Road. Entry was gained through a window.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, there wasn’t any evidence found to support the calls.
