Gun Fire Saturday Night in Newton

The Newton Police Department confirmed shots were fired Saturday night in Newton. Two vehicles were in the drive through line at McDonald's when some type of altercation began. Gun shots rang out, hitting a transformer and also hitting the top of the structure. The passengers in the cars fled to the woods, the drivers fled the the scene in the cars.
