At 3:55 am this morning a call came into 911 dispatch in Newton County of a structure fire. VFD's from Newton, Lawrence, Conehatte, Gibbs. and Emergency Management would respond to the call on Lawrence Conehatte Road. There were several family members in the home when the fire started, a Seven Year old little girl did not make out. An investigation into what caused the fire in under investigation.
