Latisha Jones Smith, 50 years old from Ackerman, MS was arrested on a warrant for felony embezzlement. Smith was employed at Doc’s Toyota for nearly three years. Since Doc's moved to Philadelphia, Smith was reported to have embezzled over $71,000.00 from the company. More charges of embezzlement are expected in Louisville. Before moving to Philadelphia Doc's was located in Lousiville, where reports of thousands more were embezzled from that location.
Smith was booked into the Winston County jail and has since bonded out on a $25,000 bond.
