4 Wheeler Theft Ring Busted - Neshoba County Takes 3 Suspects into Custody.


Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 1:30 am on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from the Bethsaida Community (Road 517). The caller had located a stolen Honda 4-wheeler, that belonged to a family member and requested Sheriff’s deputies to this location. Deputies arrived to verify by the VIN#, the 2021 Honda TRX520 ATV was stolen from Newton County. From this, Neshoba County Sheriff’s Deputies have made 3 arrests linked to a series of thefts to include 7 stolen 4-wheelers from 3 counties, the oldest dated back to December 2020.

Blake Hagood of 10400 Road 547, Philadelphia was charged with 2 counts of Grand Larceny and is pending a $30,000 bond.

Mason Anthony of 11500 Road 248, Union was charged with 3 counts of Grand Larceny and is pending a $45,000 bond.

Jack D. Ross of 17 Old College Street, Hickory was charged with 1 count of Grand Larceny and released on a $15,000 bond.

December 30, 2020--(2017) Honda TRX ATV taken from Road 266 in the Beatline Community.

July 1, 2022--(2009) Yamaha Grizzly ATV taken from Road 505 in the Crossroads Community.

June 25, 2022--(2020) Honda Rancher ATV taken from Road 347 in the Mt. Olive Community.

Newton County Thefts

October 8, 2022--(2021) Honda TRX520 (Recovered on 517) taken from Hwy 492E of Union.

October 8, 2022--(2016) Honda ATV taken from Hwy 492E of Union.

June 25, 2022--(2018) Honda 420 taken from Erin Lucern Road East of Union.

Attala County Theft

April 30, 2022--(2012) Honda ATV taken from Sallis Community, west of Kosciusko.
