Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun tells us that Friday evening at 11:40 PM 911 received a call indicating that one individual had been shot in 9700 block of Old Hwy 45 North. The initial caller indicated that a twenty year old had a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Deputies and Metro ambulance responded. Metro transported the male individual to a local hospital. Investigators have been working throughout the evening to determine exactly what occurred - will have more information later.
