MBI Charges Meridian Man

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) – Meridian has charged Dwyon Altman, 23, with the following offenses:

Impersonating an Officer

Procurement of Prostitution

Obscene Electronic Communication

The charges stem from an investigation in which Altman allegedly posed as a police officer and attempted to hold a woman against her will during a supposed “sting operation” at a Meridian hotel.

This case was referred to MBI by the Meridian Police Department on September 16, 2025.
