Suspect in Causeyville Burglary

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department Investigating Overnight Burglary at Causeyville Chevron

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an overnight burglary at the Chevron convenience store located at 3200 Causeyville Road in Causeyville.

According to an update from Sheriff Ward Calhoun, E-911 received a call from a store employee at approximately 12:10 a.m. Monday reporting that a white male wearing all black clothing had broken the glass door of the convenience store and entered the building.

At 12:14 a.m., the caller reported that the suspect had left the store on foot, traveling southbound on Causeyville Road.

Deputies arrived in the area at approximately 12:26 a.m. and searched the surrounding area for the suspect but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

Sheriff Calhoun said the investigation is ongoing, and it is currently undetermined what items, if anything, were taken during the burglary.
