Clarke County Burglary Suspects Taken Into Custody

Enterprise, MS— October 7, 2025

The Clarke County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the arrest of two male suspects in connection with a series of recent burglaries. Danny Ray McLaughlin and Cedric Cooley were taken into custody without incident at a residence on Church Street in Enterprise.

According to authorities, both men are facing charges related to multiple automobile burglaries that occurred over the past weekend, as well as a commercial burglary at the Enterprise School District’s transportation facility.

In addition to the two primary suspects, two female individuals were also detained at the scene. At this time, their involvement is still under investigation.

"We’ve been investigating this since early Sunday morning," said Sheriff Anthony Chancelor . "Our team has been closely monitoring the movements of these individuals, which ultimately led to a safe and successful operation."

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
