Suspect Held in Neshoba County for Online Threats

September 25, 2025 — Neshoba County, MS

A Florida man was taken into custody Wednesday night in Neshoba County after authorities received reports of alleged online threats.

According to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark, 42-year-old Thomas James Lacorazza was detained around 10:00 p.m. at the Frog Level RV Park on Highway 16. The Sheriff's Department was contacted after concerned citizens reported threatening content found online.

Lacorazza, a convicted sex offender with a listed residence in Florida, was located and detained without incident. At this time, he has not been formally charged.

Neshoba County Sheriff's Office has requested a search warrant for the residence and mobile device believed to have been used in connection with the online posts. The NCSO is working in coordination with the FBI as the investigation continues. Possible federal charges may be forthcoming, depending on the outcome of the inquiry.

Lacorazza is currently being held at the Neshoba County Detention Center pending further investigation.

Authorities have not released the specific nature of the threats, and no additional information is available at this time.
