Lauderdale County Awards Minnow Bucket Road Repair Bid

The Lauderdale County Board of Supervisors on Monday awarded APAC the contract to repair Minnow Bucket Road for $709,835.95, the lowest of three bids.

The project will include milling and repaving a large section of the road. County Road and Bridge crews have already spent about two months replacing eight cross pipes, improving drainage and making other repairs.

District 3 Supervisor Josh Todd said he hopes the project will provide a lasting solution after previous repairs offered only temporary improvements.

Work is expected to begin in late October or November and take about a week to complete.
