Disturbance Leads to Felony Arrest in Newton
Newton, MS — The Newton Police Department responded to a disturbance at a local business Friday night.
According to authorities, the suspect fled the scene and was later pursued by officers near Interstate 20. Newton Police Chief McKenzie Patrick confirmed that the individual was identified as Hose Segura, who was wanted on several felony charges out of Alabama.
Segura was taken into custody and transported to the Newton County Jail, where he was booked on multiple charges. No further details have been released at this time.
