Arrest Made in Homicide Investigation Forest, Mississippi

The Forest Police Department announces the arrest of Paul Kenyardo Ringo, age 50, and Christopher Williams, age 50, both of Forest, Mississippi, in connection with the death of Willie Shepard on December 24, 2025.

On December 24, 2025, officers responded to a residence on North West Street, where Mr. Shepard was found deceased. The investigation revealed evidence of foul play, including blunt force trauma inconsistent with an accidental fall.

Following a thorough investigation—consisting of witness interviews, surveillance footage review, and physical evidence analysis—investigators established probable cause that Paul Kenyardo Ringo caused Mr. Shepard’s death during the commission of a strong-armed robbery.

Mr. Ringo has been charged with Capital Murder and is currently being held at the Scott County Jail.
