UPDATE: Suspect Deceased After Attempted Break-In

Authorities have confirmed that a suspect was shot and killed while attempting to break into a home before midnight.

The suspect, Christopher Hughes, was wanted in connection with a double homicide that occurred earlier Sunday around 2:00 PM in Attala County.

At this time, details surrounding the earlier murders have not been released.
