Second Murder of the Year in Meridian

Authorities are investigating after a male was found deceased in the 1300 block of 36th Avenue just after 11 p.m. The victim reportedly died from a gunshot wound.

Officials have not released the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin. At this time, the Meridian Police Department has not provided additional details surrounding the shooting.
