Mark your calendars for July 11...The Meridian Public School District is partnering with the Meridian Housing Authority to host the "Stronger Together Community Connection Fair" on Friday, July 11, 2025. The event will take place at the MHA Offices on 2425 E Street from 10am-2pm. Parents will be able to register students for the upcoming school year. There will also be Backpack and Supply Giveaways, Coloring Sheets, and Board & Carnival games. The event for new and returning students to the Meridian Public School District.

MPD responded to 14th street and 9th Ave for alleged animal abuse. The subject was charged with drug paraphernalia, others charges pending if witness follows through with affidavit.
