CLARKE COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities have released the name of the driver killed in an early Saturday morning crash involving two 18-wheelers and a Corvette on Interstate 59 in Clarke County.
The crash occurred around 4 a.m. near mile marker 126.
The driver who lost his life has been identified as Tom Davis Sumling Jr., 60, of Paulding, Mississippi.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. Additional details have not yet been released.
