Mississippi Office of the State Fire Marshal Indianola Man Arrested for Arson

JACKSON, Miss. — Frederick Pearson has been arrested and charged with first-degree arson and arson of insured property after allegedly setting fire to his home at 120 Stonewall Drive in Indianola around 4 a.m. May 29.

The Mississippi State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the fire and assisted Sunflower County authorities with Pearson’s Aug. 21 arrest. The fire caused an estimated $25,000 in damage. His bond was set at $10,000.

Pearson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
