Driver Charged With DUI After Car Crashes Into Home

MERIDIAN — A driver was charged with driving under the influence Thursday night after crashing into a home.

The Meridian Police Department say the incident occurred in the 4800 block of 15th Place near North Hills Street. A vehicle left the roadway, struck two parked cars, and then crashed into a nearby residence.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. The driver was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

The incident remains under investigation.
