Armed and Dangerous Suspect Sought After Assault, Vehicle Theft in Choctaw County, AL

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Ala. (July 19) — Choctaw County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect following an assault and the theft of multiple firearms and a vehicle that occurred Sunday afternoon.

According to Sheriff Scott Lolly, deputies responded to a report of an assault at approximately 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19. Investigators confirmed that an assault had taken place and determined that several firearms, along with a vehicle, had been stolen during the incident.

Authorities have identified the suspect as Keylan Jamar Hill, who is believed to be traveling in a stolen white 2004 Pontiac Bonneville. Investigators believe he may be headed toward the Mobile, Alabama, area.

Law enforcement warns that Hill should be considered armed and dangerous and may be experiencing a mental health crisis. The public is urged not to approach or attempt to contact him.

Anyone who sees the suspect or the stolen vehicle is asked to immediately call 911 or contact their local law enforcement agency.

The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to report it to authorities.
